Find your true purpose in your next chapter.
Not every franchise is the right fit. We help you work out whether franchising fits your life at all, and if it does, which franchise fits you. Straight talk, never broker hype.
Free, no obligation, about half an hour. If franchising isn't right for you, we'll say so.
- 1You talk, we listenWhere you are, what you want your week to look like, what you can put in.
- 2We rule things outMost of franchising won't fit you. We say which parts, and why.
- 3You leave with clarityA short list worth exploring, or an honest "not this, not now."
Not every franchise is the right fit.
If the first brand you looked at wasn't right, that's not a dead end. It's useful information. Our job is to turn that information into a shorter, better list, or into a clear-eyed decision to wait.
Start with you, not the brand
Brochures are built to sell. We start somewhere else: your money, your skills, the hours you actually want to work, and the life you're building. Then we look at brands.
Read the fine print together
Franchise Disclosure Documents are long and dry on purpose. We'll show you where to look, what to ask existing owners, and which answers should give you pause.
Introductions, only when you want them
When a brand is worth a real look, we introduce you to the people who run it and the people who own it. You choose which doors to open. Nobody gets your number otherwise.
Start with a conversation about you, not a brochure.

Industry estimates put the number of franchise brands in the U.S. in the thousands. Most people start with a search bar, a spreadsheet, and a growing sense of dread.
We filter by what you can put in, the work you'd actually enjoy, the role you want, and the life you're building. The brands that don't fit fall away.
What's left is a short list you can evaluate properly. A few good options beat thousands of maybes.
We're paid when you sign. We'd rather you sign the right thing.
Here's the honest version of how this works, because you should hear it before anyone asks for your time.
- Franchisors pay us, you don't.If you sign with a brand we introduced, that brand pays a referral fee. Your franchise fee is the same either way.
- So we tell you that on the first call. And we tell you when a brand we're recommending is one we have a relationship with.
- Fit beats fee, every time.A bad fit costs you years and costs us our reputation. Neither is worth a referral.
- "Not this, not now" is a real outcome.Plenty of fit calls end there. We'd rather say it than watch you find out later.
From "I'm curious" to a decision you can stand behind
Four stages, at your pace. Some people move in weeks. Some take a year. Both are fine.
Fit call
A relaxed conversation about where you are and where you want to go. No brand talk yet.
Rule things out
Money, skills, role, and lifestyle narrow the field fast. Most of franchising falls away here, on purpose.
Explore what's left
A short list, with the reasoning behind each pick. Guided FDD review and honest conversations with current owners.
Decide
Yes, no, or not yet. All three are good answers when you've done the work to get there.
Three questions to ask before you buy a franchise
If you can't answer these yet, you're not behind. You're exactly where a fit call starts.
What do you want a normal Tuesday to look like?
Not launch week. Not year five. A regular Tuesday. On the road, on the phone, at a counter, managing a manager? Most franchise regrets start with a Tuesday nobody pictured.
Why it matters: role fitWhat does it cost you, all in, before the first customer?
The franchise fee is the small number. Build-out, equipment, working capital, and the months before you pay yourself are the real ones. If you don't know them yet, nobody should be asking you to sign.
Why it matters: money, honestlyWhat did current owners say about their worst month?
Every brand will hand you its happiest owners. Ask them, and ask the ones they didn't hand you, about the worst month and what support looked like then. The answer tells you more than any brochure.
Why it matters: validationCan't answer all three yet? That's exactly what the fit call is for.

Franchising is wider than food and fitness. Tell us where your interests lie, or let us surprise you with categories you hadn't considered.
A franchise is a vehicle. The destination is yours.
We don't start with what's for sale. We start with where you want to end up, and work backwards.
Inside a fit call
Swipe through what the conversation covers. Nothing to prepare, nothing to bring.
Where you are now, and what's pulling you toward something different.
Corporate exit, military transition, a business you've outgrown, or just a growing itch. Context changes everything that follows.
Money, honestly. What you can put in, what you need to take out, and how soon.
Liquid capital, net worth, appetite for financing, and how long you can go before paying yourself. Rough numbers are fine.
The life you want. Hours, people, travel, and what you're no longer willing to do.
Owner-operator or semi-absentee? Field work or desk work? One unit or an empire? This is where most of franchising falls away.
What you've already looked at, and why it did or didn't feel right.
Every brand you've rejected tells us something. So does every one you keep coming back to.
What happens next. A short list, more research, or an honest "not yet."
You leave with a clear next step and no obligation to take it.
Things people ask before they book
Is this really free? What's the catch?
No catch, but there is a business model you should understand. Like most franchise consultants, we're paid a referral fee by the franchisor if you sign with a brand we introduced. You never pay us, and the franchise fee you pay is the same whether or not we were involved. We'll say this again on the call.
Will you push me toward brands that pay you more?
It's the right question to ask. Our answer: a bad fit costs you years and costs us our name, and no referral fee is worth either. We recommend on fit, we tell you when a brand we're recommending is one we work with, and we're comfortable ending a call with "not this, not now."
I've only looked at one brand and it didn't feel right. Is franchising just not for me?
Maybe. Or maybe that brand wasn't for you. One bad fit is information, not a verdict. A fit call is the quickest way to find out which it is.
How much money do I need?
It depends entirely on the kind of business. Some home-based service concepts need far less than a restaurant build-out. What matters more is knowing your real number: what you can put in, what you can borrow comfortably, and how long you can go before the business pays you. We'll work that out together before any brand comes up.
I've never run a business. Does that rule me out?
No. That's partly what a franchise is for: a system, training, and support. What matters more is being coachable, comfortable leading people, and willing to follow a playbook. We'll be honest with you about fit either way.
What happens after I book?
We'll email you to set up a time. The call itself is relaxed and unscripted. Afterwards you get a short written summary of what we talked about and a suggested next step. You decide whether to take it.
Ready to talk it through?
